Programme at a Glance
The Global Digital Health Forum comes to Asia for the first time in its sixteen-year history. Three full days in Bangkok, from 2 to 4 December 2026, hosted at the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.
GDHF 2026 is co-hosted with Thailand's Ministry of Public Health and supported by WHO Thailand, with the Global Digital Health Network leading content programming.
The Forum is hybrid. In-person participants join us in Bangkok, and the full virtual programme runs alongside it across time zones. Registration is open now, and early bird rates close on 30 September.
The 2026 Tracks
Every session in Bangkok sits in one of seven tracks. These were set by the Global Digital Health Network and used to structure this year’s call for abstracts.
Governance and Digital Health at Scale
How countries move beyond fragmented pilots to nationally owned systems: governance models, coordination mechanisms, and evidence-based decisions about what to scale and what to retire.
Interoperability and Digital Public Infrastructure
Interoperable architectures across EMRs, registries and labs; data governance, privacy and consent; unique patient identification; open standards and digital public goods.
AI for Health
Applied AI in clinical care, public health and system management, alongside the data readiness, validation, bias mitigation and regulatory frameworks that responsible adoption depends on.
Cybersecurity, Resilience, and Continuity
Protecting digital health systems and keeping them running: risk management, backup and disaster recovery, incident response, and continuity in fragile and emergency settings.
Workforce Capacity and Leadership for the Digital Future
Competency frameworks, capacity building in data, AI, interoperability and cybersecurity, change management for digital transformation, and strengthening local talent pipelines.
Financing for Sustainability
Long-term financing models, cost-effectiveness and value for money, procurement and partner alignment, and the transition from donor funding to domestic budgets.
Climate and Health
Climate-informed surveillance and early warning, climate-resilient health system design, and the integration of environmental and health data.

More than 950 abstracts were submitted for Bangkok and assessed by 68 volunteer peer reviewers drawn from ministries of health, universities, multilaterals and implementing organizations, convened independently by the Global Digital Health Network. Planning Your Trip
Need approval to attend?Many colleagues need to secure institutional approval and travel budget well before a session-level programme is available. Registration is open now, and the pages below cover what most approval processes ask for. If you need a formal letter of invitation for your organization or for a visa application, please get in touch and we will provide one.
